1） 第一件事就是申请打工旅行签证，基本上现在比起之前我们申请时简单多了，因从2006年起，不须再准备许多文件寄去新加坡申请了，现在可以直接上网申 请。这个签证每年1月1号到12月31日开放1,150位置供大马公民申请，先申请先得，就是说如果到6月30日时就已经有1,150的申请被批准的话， 那你在7月1日要申请时就已经没位子了，要再等到明年1月1日才能申请，不过一年里面应该都不会有1,150人申请。
首先必须符合以下条件：-

• have a Malaysian passport that‘s valid for at least three months after your planned departure from New Zealand （就是说如果你决定2008年 9月30日从纽西兰回大马，你的护照必须至少有效至2008年12月30日）

• be at least 18 and not more than 30 years old （18至30岁也可以申请）

• not bring children with you （不能带子女）

• hold a return ticket or sufficient funds to purchase such a ticket （入 境时他们有可能会要你证明有回程机票或足够的钱来购买机票，其实你可以买年票 open ticket，就是回程日期在一年以内有效，你可以随时更改回程的日期。像我们自前订了6月30日回程，不过在那儿时才决定换去8月13日，你只要打电话 更改就行了，我们以前是搭新航 SIA，现在你可以考虑马航 MAS 和 Qantas Airways。）

• have a minimum of NZ$2,250 available funds to meet your living costs while you’re here （必须证明有纽币 $2,250-大约马币五千多到六千多， 以足够在纽西兰的生活费。要申请签证时，你的户口最好有前几个月的固定收入存进，因为现在好像会怀疑如果你忽然间有一大笔钱存入，而要你证明你那笔钱是不 是公司的薪水。）

• meet our health and character requirements （表格上会问一些诸如有没有健康问题或有没有犯罪的之类的问题，通常是回答'No'）

• be coming to New Zealand to holiday, with work being a secondary intention for your visit （如果有问到，就答主要是来旅行的。）

• not have been approved a visa or permit under a Working Holiday Scheme before （如 果你之前有被批准过打工旅行的签证，就不可以再申请了）

2） 先到 https://www.immigration.govt.nz/secure/default.htm， 选择register here 注册户口。
  

3）注册成功后就登入，然后选择Online Services 下面的 Working Holiday，然后依照画面指示，选择Malaysia，另一个画面按Apply。
  


4）然后你就必须填以下的表格，如果一切没问题，就要付申请费（新币144 - 大约马币330），只接受Visa或Master card。  


5）通常2-5个工作天里面就可以知道你的申请有没有被批准了，不过也有人必须等到80天。因为最近比较严了，所以有些人会被要求回答或提供更多的资料， 大家要有心里准备。最常被问的问题如下：

Under policy E5.10 Determining whether an applicant is a 'bona fide applicant' you are required to confirm you intentions to be in New Zealand including the following;

Your personal circumstances , including but not limited to:

• the strength of any family ties in the home country and New Zealand
  
• the nature of any personal, financial, employment or other commitments in the home country and New Zealand. You should provide evidence you have leave from your current employment.
  
• any circumstances that may discourage the applicant from returning to their home country when any permit expires.

• Please email your completed questionnaire within 7 days - if we do not hear from you in that time, we will proceed to decide your application based on the information we have available at that time.

• Could you please scan and email a copy of your bank statement showing you have sufficient funds to qualify for a Working Holiday Visa/Permit. (This statement should show every transaction that has occurred over the last 30 days)

尽 你所能的仔细回答吧，以免他们怀疑你要去跳飞机。可以告知他们你家里的经济状况，从事什么职业，还有你自己目前在哪间公司工作，什么职位，也可以附上你的 pay slip薪水单以示证明。你也必须附上你公司的联络方式，因为他们有可能会直接寄电邮去你公司询问关于你的详情，例如以下（谢谢槟城的The Jelly Bean提供）：


然后，再继续答他们你主要的目的是要去纽西兰游玩，然后当签证到期后，就会回国找新工作，总之就是要写到让他们觉得你一定会回国而不会留在纽西兰。

8）当你的签证批准后，只要一年内入境纽西兰即可，例如你2008年1月批准，你在2009年1月前必须入境纽西兰。

打 工旅行签证可以延签吗？

1） 可以，可以多延签3个月，不过必须符合以下特定条件。

Working Holidaymaker Extension Permit

• fill in the work application form for Transitional Recognised Seasonal Employer and Working Holidaymaker Extension permits. （请按以上的表格连接）
• pay the correct fee （纽币NZ$120）
• Your passport or travel document (which must be valid for three months past the date you plan to leave New Zealand)  （就是 说如果你决定2008年 9月30日从纽西兰回大马，你的护照必须至少有效至2008年12月30日，申请时要把护照交出）
• A recent passport size photograph attached to this form in the section indicated （两张人头照）
• attach evidence of your employment in the horticulture and viticulture industries, such as letters from your employers and Inland Revenue Department statements  （三个月或以上曾在农场或果园工作证明信）
• provide evidence you have an outward ticket, or sufficient funds to buy one （证明你有回程机票或有足够的钱购买，可以到你纽西兰的银行叫他们 给你一张你的存款证明信）
• send the application to the nearest Immigration New Zealand branch as this type of permit cannot be applied for online. （必须到Immigration Branch申请，无法上网申请）

Please note, applicants for Working Holidaymaker Extension permits do not have to provide medical or X-ray certificates regardless of the duration of their stay in New Zealand, unless specifically asked for by an immigration officer. （不需体检及递交X光片，除非被要求）

3）这个延签跟我们以前申请的不大一样，我们以前不需提供三 个月或以上曾在农场或果园工作证明信， 不过却需体检及递交X光片，这就另费了我们一笔钱。

4） 申请时可以选择要亲自回去你申请的Immigration Branch拿回你的护照与签证，或是邮寄到你的住址，我们以前是选择邮寄，因为我们住的地方离Immigration Branch很远。


还有其他签证可以延吗？
1）可以申请Work Visa。
